About the Artwork

Everything is Electric is a beautiful blue and white wall sculpture. The blue pigment used is matt ultra blue, to see it in person tantalises the eye. It is comprised from twelve hand cast tessellating triangles designed by the artist with precision to ensure that that each piece fits perfectly together. Gregory's work often explores intricate papercuts. This work is inspired by origami paper forms, however, unlike the fragile experience of paper, this is formed in a robust, stone like material. The work is the result of 9 months of experiment and exploration.
