About the Artwork

Natal Saturn (2025) is an acrylic painting on calico (51 x 76.5 cm) from the ongoing Planet Dust project. The work depicts a mountainous terrain punctuated by two illuminated architectural forms and a sweeping arc that traverses the composition. The
imagery draws from recurring dream visions in which Saturn appears as a structuring presence rather than a literal planet. The painting explores themes of distance, recurrence and psychic landscape through warm tonal palette.
